I’m late posting last week’s image, but here it is.
It’s been so busy around here that I was only able to work on one photo last week. I could be frustrated about that, but I’m learning to shift my mindset around busyness and weariness. I just read an article by Phylicia Masonheimer called, “Weary in the Center of God’s Will.” She talked about the culture of tiredness and how, no matter what season of life we’re in, tiredness doesn’t have to be a bad thing. It can be a reflection of the good work we’re doing in the center of God’s will (if you don’t resist the work).
That’s what I’m learning, friends. Not to resist the tired and weary season I’m in with motherhood and ministry. It’s good, hard work and it’s God’s will that we make disciples. And I wanna be at the center of His will!
So here we are, making a tiny disciple along with other (bigger, more-adult) disciples in college ministry. Thank You, Jesus.
