This week has been pretty busy (and a little stressful). My husband and I spent most of it preparing to head out to a four-day conference. It’s the first time we’ll be away from our little guy, which has been more difficult and emotional for me than I realized. Amidst working through all of that, the packing, and preparation for the conference, itself, we’ve had a full week. (Our little man also broke out into a full-torso rash a couple days ago and it took him about three days to recover).
Despite the busyness, I wanted to make sure to document the week. Out of all the photos I took, I picked two favorites! The first one I took turned out to be a little soft. Even thought it’s a little outta focus, I’m really happy to have captured this little, simple moment of my son playing with his toys. I was also able to capture some really fun moments of him playing with daddy.
My other favorite photo is of our little man laying in bed, holding his daddy’s hand while he's reading the Bible. These precious moments are so important to me. They remind me that we have been given this little guy with the responsibility of raising him to know Christ. We love Jesus and want to raise our children to know and love Him, too. We’re making tiny disciples!
Although this week has had it's stressful moments, I really don’t want to remember those parts of it. I want to remember the little, simple, special moments that happened amidst the busyness and stress.
